1. Health Check

Before any kitten is sent to their new home, they will undergo a thorough health examination by a licensed veterinarian. Each kitten will be:

• Up-to-date on all vaccinations.
• Dewormed as per the recommended schedule.
• Cleared of any visible signs of illness or infections.

A copy of the veterinary health report will be provided to the new owner at the time of adoption.

2. 72-Hour Initial Health Guarantee

We offer a 72-hour health guarantee from the time the kitten arrives at their new home. During this period, we recommend the buyer have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian. If the vet determines that the kitten has a serious, pre-existing health condition that was not disclosed at the time of sale, the buyer must contact us immediately, providing a written statement from the vet.

In such cases, the buyer may:

• Return the kitten for a full refund or exchange (subject to availability).
• Alternatively, if the buyer chooses to keep the kitten, Osmium Coons may provide assistance with treatment based on the situation.

3. One-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

We guarantee our kittens against any life-threatening genetic disorders for one year from the date of adoption. If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a genetic disorder that affects the quality of life, the buyer must notify us in writing with detailed medical documentation.

In the event of a genetic health issue, the buyer has the following options:

• Return the kitten for a replacement of equal value (subject to availability).
• Receive assistance with medical treatment or a partial refund.

4. Conditions of Guarantee

This health guarantee applies only if the following conditions are met:

• The buyer provides adequate care, housing, and nutrition for the kitten.
• The kitten is not exposed to neglect, abuse, or harmful conditions.
• The buyer follows recommended veterinary advice and schedules for vaccinations and regular check-ups.

This guarantee does not cover minor illnesses, injuries, or conditions that can be treated with veterinary care, such as colds or parasites. Additionally, the guarantee becomes void if the kitten is not examined by a licensed veterinarian within the first 72 hours after arrival or if the kitten has been rehomed.

5. Shipping and Delivery

All of our kittens are carefully examined prior to shipping to ensure they are in excellent health. However, we cannot be held responsible for any illnesses or conditions that arise due to stress from shipping or improper care after the kitten arrives at its new home.
